Beginners

These classes are designed for beginners. This practice of āsanas (postures) includes standing, seated and preparation for back-bends and shoulder-stand with the support of techniques to respect your body needs, limitations and possibilities to improve. These classes offer an emphasis on alignment, breath awareness, and observation. Appropriate for tight muscles, acute pain, office workers, and sports enthusiasts who want to incorporate stretching in their workout routine.

Beyond the basics

These classes are intended for individuals who have basic knowledge of āsanas. Also, this is a great class for those who want to establish a yoga practice to complement their wellness/fitness routine. Expect to get deeper into standing postures and evolve to a more dynamic practice of balance poses and introduction to inversions, back- bending forward bending, and twists.

Prenatal for hip and back alignment

This āsana practice is safe for all stages of pregnancy including the stage of preparation for conceiving. These routines address the needs of a changing body with a strong emphasis on alignment, pranayama (breathing techniques) and asanas appropriate to support and/or alleviate discomforts due to pregnancy, such as sciatica or LBP (Low Back Pain) caused by the loosening of the ligaments holding together the sacroiliac joints, which connect your spine to your pelvis. Includes techniques/asanas that would be very useful during the time of delivery. Improving and/or maintaining a healthy posture will allow you to breathe easily and keep up with your daily activities. Expect the use of yoga accessories, ropes, straps. A therapeutic approach !!

These classes are intended for individuals who have basic knowledge of āsanas and are willing to step beyond the boundaries of mind conditioning. During these classes, expect to slow down, align your body, breath, awareness through the contrast of subtle movement & stillness.

Kids Yoga 8 plus

These are age-appropriate conscious movement and alignment practices explored in a creative, engaging manner filled with tons of out-of-the-box thinking. We tapped into āsana practices, Ayurveda principles, yoga philosophy, and  Sanskrit exploration.

Yoga philosophy offers a variety of tools to support kids into their growing and transitional stages of development. Kids are encouraged to participate, work in teams, and transmit their yoga experience to others in their own words even their own favorite or maternal language. Offered throughout the school year.
